Rookies

The Rookies are where it all begins — our first-year skaters getting their first taste of hockey magic.

This program is for first year players between the ages of 4-7.

All equipment is free to use, and families can keep the gear through the winter to keep skating outdoors or jump right into the next level — Termites or Lilac Loons (our 6U/8U girls' group) — when the time comes. Equipment returns happen in March, after the outdoor rink season wraps up.

This 10-week program runs mid-October through mid-December, with ice time on Saturday mornings.

It’s all about fun, smiles, and learning to love the game. Players learn how to move on the ice, handle a stick, and chase that puck with friends — no pressure, just pure hockey joy.
